Indian Government scholarships to study Hindi are available for nationals from Uzbekistan. This audio-visual intensive programme is conducted at the Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra, India. The course duration is August of current year to June of the following year. Application forms can be downloaded by clicking at the icon “Application Forms” provide below, and the same must be submitted to the Embassy of India in Tashkent, Uzbekistan by 31 January each year.

Hindi, the third largest spoken language in the world, and the national language of India, is one of the major foreign languages liked by the people of Uzbekistan.
Besides running part-time courses in Hindi and organizing regular Hindi symposiums etc. at the Centre, the LBSCIC is also assisting and coordinating the teaching activities of ten educational institutions in Uzbekistan where Hindi is taught, by organizing meetings of teachers and students of Hindi, presenting study material, Hindi software programmes, books & magazines etc.
Hindi scholars from Uzbekistan are also sponsored as official delegates to world Hindi conferences, seminars etc. The LBCSIS is also involved in popularization other Indian Languages.
